An Excellent Line Up

This is my top three line up for perfect eye lines this summer season. They're stunning, fairly easy to create, and add a whole lot of wow to any look.

- Thick Lines ---

I love thick liner. It looks absolutely gorgeous paired with a barely there lip. A gel liner works best with this look and Bobby Brown's  Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is nothing but amazing. What is said about it? It gives you the 'precision of a liquid liner with the ease of a gel-based formula. The eyeliner glides on smoothly and precisely, then quickly dries down to a long-wearing, water-resistant finish'. Enough said.

- Dropped Lines ---

Dropped eyeliner is when you apply liner to half of your bottom lid. It's almost like you gave up while lining. I like it. It's super stylish and very pretty with the white shimmer. Gold looks great with blue eyes, bronze is killer with hazel eyes and a cobalt shimmer makes brown eyes brilliant.

- Coloured Lines ---

Coloured liner is so on trend right now. Play it up with some shimmery shadow for a sexy ta-dah or play it sweet and pair it with a light, matte shadow. Either way it looks fun and flirty.

I love all these lines, and one works for every occasion.

Vitamin C Me

One of the most important ingredients in skin care treatments is Vitamin C and it ought to be on your hit list when choosing skin care products.

Why
...because the benefits are amazing.

  • it moisturizes
  • it encourages growth of collagen
  • it softens
  • it exfoliates and cleanses
  • it helps remove wrinkles
  • it rejuvenates
  • it anti oxidizes

Research has shown that vitamin C is really the only thing that stimulates the growth of collagen. Collagen is the substance that gives structure and strength to your skin. As we age, there is a natural reduction of the production of collagen in the body leaving us with the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin. By stimulating the production of collagen, the process may be reversed.

How to get started?

Try this homemade Vitamin C serum. The results are the same as from the over-priced bottles you can buy.

4 tsp. rose water
1 tsp. glycerin
1/8 tsp. granulated vitamin C (from any health food store).

Mix together and store in a small glass bottle. I make a new batch every week. Serum should be applied after you cleanse, and before you moisturize. You'll notice the results instantly!

A Molecule Must-Have

Resveratrol has been named the best anti-aging molecule by Harvard's Department of Medicine and has been praised by the beloved Dr. Oz for it's amazing benefits and results. It is one of the most precious active ingredients found in anti-aging skincare products today, so I thought I'd pass it on. It is believed by many scientists to be the reason why the French (who consume a healthy amount of resveratrol-rich red wine) have amazingly low incidences of heart disease and often live longer, healthier lives than those who only drink wine on occasion.

How does resveratrol improve your aging skin conditions?
In clinical studies, resveratrol performed amazingly well. It created a denser and firmer skin texture while boosting the life expectancy of the skin cells by a whopping 160%. It stimulates cellular renewal, enhances the skin’s support system (collagen and elastin) and improves the multiplication of fibroblasts. After only six days, patients using this grape seed experienced skin with double the thickness. After 28 days, deep wrinkles were reduced by 24%.

Unbelievable, right? Who wouldn't want to be a part of this cutting edge antioxidant technology and achieve a younger-looking complexion with a healthy tone and attractive texture? Caudalie is the only line that uses this heavenly grape seed molecule and it's available at Sephora.
